Welcome to the SAS Cleaning website. The Site is owned and operated by SAS Cleaning Service Company PTY LTD. These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and the cleaning services ("Services") we provide. By accessing or using our Site, including but not limited to, logging in, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Site or Services.
1. Website Use and User Accounts
Eligibility: By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
Account Creation: To access certain features, such as requesting quotes and managing bookings, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfering with the Site's security features, or using the Site to transmit spam, viruses, or other malicious code.
2. Quotes and Service Bookings
Requesting a Quote: The quote system on our Site provides an estimated price for our Services. This quote is not a binding offer and is subject to change based on a physical inspection of the premises, the level of cleaning required, and any additional services requested.
Service Agreement: A booking is considered a binding Service Agreement only after we have confirmed the details, including the final price, date, and time, and you have agreed to proceed. By accepting a booking, you agree to pay the quoted price in full.
Customer Obligations: You agree to provide a safe and clear working environment for our cleaners. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing unobstructed access to all areas to be cleaned.
- Securing or removing valuable, fragile, or breakable items.
- Providing access to hot and cold water and electricity.
- Advising us of any hazards, slippery surfaces, or pre-existing damage prior to the service.
3. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds
Payment: All payments must be made in full at the time of booking or upon completion of the Service, as specified in your booking confirmation. We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods as indicated on our Site.
Cancellations: We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel a booking, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee, equivalent to a portion of the quoted service price, to compensate our cleaners for their scheduled time.
Refunds and Complaints: If you are not satisfied with the quality of our Services, you must notify us within 48 hours of the service completion time. We will assess the issue and, if warranted, will arrange for a re-clean of the unsatisfactory areas at no extra charge. Refunds or credits will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our sole discretion. This provision does not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
Limitation of Liability: As far as Australian law allows, SAS Cleaning is not responsible for indirect losses (like lost profits, data, or business) from using our site or services. We are also not liable for damage that existed before cleaning, stains that cannot be removed, or damage caused by faulty equipment provided by the customer.
Indemnity: You agree to protect SAS Cleaning, including our staff and contractors, from any claims, costs, or damages (including legal fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms or your use of our services or website.
5. Intellectual Property
Site Content: All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our express written permission.
6. General Provisions
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Western Australia, Australia, and you irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
Privacy: Your use of our Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available on our Site. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
